The Formation of the Communist League
Karl Marx also wrote that a worker had no country. If you search nationality of Karl Marx on Wikipedia or any other website, he is written stateless after 1844. In 1847, while Karl Marx was still in Belgium, a secret society of German immigrants met in Britain. This secret society was called the League of Justice. Its members were mostly German immigrants. This secret society invited Marx to join them. Marx went to Britain with Engels and joined the league. The society was later renamed as Communist League.
In 1847, a conference of the League of Justice was held in London. Engels also attended the conference. The group decided to organize itself according to the communist ideals of Karl Marx. Marx and Engels wrote the Communist Manifesto in 1848. The manifesto became a sacred document for communists. The document analyzed the class struggle between the capitalist class or “bourgeoisie” and the working class, the “proletariat”.
"Uncovering the Truth: Karl Marx's Involvement in a Revolution During His Lifetime"
This manifesto says that all the progress of humanity from the past to the future is the result of only the class struggle. The manifesto stated that capitalism would be abolished and replaced by a workers’ society. The Communists would abolish private property on behalf of the working class and bring the proletarians, to power. The manifesto concludes with the words that the proletariat has nothing but their chains to lose.
They could conquer the whole world. So the manifesto called for all the workers to untie. The manifesto was an open declaration of war against the capitalist powers. It even shook the future superpowers. Marx wrote so much about revolutions but he could not bring any revolution in his lifetime. That’s a misconception. It is said that all the revolutions which were based on his ideology came after his death. But this is not entirely true. Marx himself participated in a revolution.
